I have created this blog in order to share my interest in art and design and to document things that I have come across that I like. All of the postings will have in some way had an impact on me – either I bought a print, took the photo, been impressed by the design or even added a blog or website to my favourites. Basically I’m showcasing things I like.
The blog is also intended to advertise some of my work. I am a keen artist – completely self taught. My background and qualifications are in science for which I worked in the industry for 10 years. After a career change I have spent the past 3 years working for a training design consultancy – designing, laying out and formatting training materials, job aids, operating guides etc in Adobe and Microsoft Office programs. The materials were designed for many large blue chip companies including private healthcare, banks and retail organisations both within the UK and internationally.
